Chillicothe Hornets Track & Field At Brookfield

Hornets Track and Field Teams Dominate at Jack McCush Relays

The Chillicothe Hornets were one of 7 teams competing at Brookfield on Tuesday. Chillicothe scored numerous first place and podium finishes across events for both the boys and the girls.

 

Tori Stoner won the javelin throw at 37.9 meters. Emerson Staton was first in both the shot put and discus while Mya Oliver won the triple jump. In the track events, Chillicothe placed on top in the 100 and 200 with Lexy Smith sweeping both events, and Bryleigh Gillespie in the 100 meter hurdles.

 

The boys first place results are as follows: Soljier Allen in the 100 and 200, Luke Thompson in the 800, the 1600 and 3200 to Cain Evans, and Landen Longo in both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. The boys 4×100 relay team finished first. In the field events, Jayden Martin won javelin, Bo Smith was first in discus, Brennen Fitzpatrick took the triple jump and Eli Hall placed first in the long jump.
