The Chillicothe Hornets softball team is the Missouri Class 3 defending state champions and looking to put together another successful year. Coach Lee Rucker is entering his 7th season as the head coach of the Lady Hornets and is excited about the intensity and hunger that the team has shown leading up to the year. The Lady Hornets have won the MEC six consecutive seasons and will look to take the conference again headlined by the strong pitching of Landry Marsh and an aggressive, talented defense behind her.
