Several local teams played in girls basketball district semi-finals on Wednesday night. Here are the area results:
In Class 3 District 16 at Lathrop, South Harrison beat Lathrop 58-32 and Lawson defeated Carrollton 51-45.
In Class 2 District 7 at Glasgow, Glasgow beat Harrisburg 58-48, and Westran toppled Marceline 39-36.
In Class 1 District 12 at Meadville, Grundy County beat Tina-Avalon 58-37 and Meadville knocked off Brunswick 52-37.
All three of those district finals will take place Friday at 6:00.
