The Showdown in Joe Town wrestling tournament was attended by Chillicothe over the weekend. The Hornets and Lady Hornets each had several excellent individual efforts.
For the boys, Bo Smith placed first in his weight class after going 4-0, Martin Moore and Marshall Boon each finished 5th while James Hail and Sam Wiebers placed 6th. The Chillicothe Hornets finished 10th with 71 points among the 18 schools at the event. Cameron took home the top spot with 225.
The Lady Hornets Sophie Hurtgen, Yoo Jung Lee and Tori Stoner all came in first place and Anya Moore was a runner-up, helping Chillicothe total 76.5 points in the meet.
