The Chillicothe Hornets picked up a solid home win over Marceline on Wednesday night, defeating the Tigers 56–28 to improve their record to 10–7 on the season.
Chillicothe led from the opening quarter, taking a 13–8 advantage early before extending the margin to 21–13 at halftime. The Hornets pulled away decisively in the third quarter, outscoring Marceline to build a 41–20 lead, and closed the game strong in the fourth to secure the win.
The Hornets were led offensively by Turner Jackson, who finished with a game-high 15 points. Jaishon White added 14 points, while Jack Marshall chipped in 9. Additional scoring came from Burke Beetsma (8), Max Probasco (4), Kale Oliver (3), Jaydin Kohl (2), and Frankie Forbess (1).
