Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Numerous calls for service on Thursday were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department.

Early in the morning, officers and EMS responded to a medical emergency on Edgerton Street where a 70-year-old woman was pronounced deceased. The incident remains under investigation.

Officers also responded to multiple motor vehicle accidents throughout the day, including a two-vehicle crash at Second and Washington Streets that temporarily blocked traffic. No injuries were reported in any of the crashes.

Officers investigated a reported phone scam where a caller claimed to be from the police department and attempted to obtain personal information.

An assault was reported on Mechanic Street involving a family dispute. One person was transported by ambulance, and the investigation continues.

.Several traffic stops resulted in warnings, while one driver was cited for an expired out-of-state license. Police also made an arrest Thursday evening for violation of an active protection order on Conn Street.
