Hornets Golf Comes Up Just Short Of First In Lawson Quad

Hornets Golf Takes 4th in MEC Tournament at St. Joseph Country Club

The Chillicothe Hornets golf team was in Lawson on Tuesday for a 9 hole match against Penney, Plattsburg and the host Lawson.

 

As a team the Hornets shot a 184, finishing 2nd place amongst the four teams, just three strokes behind Lawson for first. Jameson Marshall shot a team best 40 which was 2nd place individually. Zander Coffman of Lawson had the low score at 39.

 

The rest of Chillicothe’s team score was rounded out with Case Stretch at a 46, Nick Radcliff’s 47 and Kenyan Gannan shooting a 51.

 

Penney finished 3rd shooting a 214 and Plattsburg was last at 220.
