The Chillicothe Hornets track and field team was one of 12 schools competing at the Cameron Invitational on Tuesday.
Chillicothe performed very well in the relay events, taking first place in the girls 4 x 400, boys 4 x 400 and boys 4 x 200. Chillicothe also had first place finishes from Luke Thompson in the 1600, Cain Evans in the 3200 and Brennan Fitzpatrick in triple jump.
Other podium placings for the Hornets include, Lydia Bonderer 2nd in the 800, Mya Oliver 2nd in triple jump, and Tori Stoner runner up in javelin while Sadie Midgyett was third in discus.
For the boys, Jayden Martin placed 2nd in the shot put, and Silas Midgyett ran 3rd in the 100 meter dash.
