The Chillicothe Lady Hornet volleyball team picked up another victory Thursday night, defeating Trenton 3-1 in a four-set match.
Chillicothe opened the match with wins of 25-22 and 25-17 before Trenton answered with a 25-19 victory in the third set. The Lady Hornets responded by closing out the match with a 25-14 win in the fourth set.
Kami Snyder led Chillicothe from the service line with nine aces. Clara Fisher recorded seven kills, while Amre Midgyette added three blocks.
Emmy Lent directed the Lady Hornet offense with 14 assists, and Mya Oliver led the defensive effort with 14 digs.
The Chillicothe junior varsity also earned a 2-0 victory, winning 25-21, 25-10.
The C team completed the sweep of the lower-level matches with a 2-0 win, taking the sets 25-16 and 25-19.
The Lady Hornets improve to 2-0 on the season and will host Brookfield on Wednesday.
