The Chillicothe Lady Hornets softball team made their way down to Springfield for the Class 3 Softball Final Four this weekend. The Lady Hornets defeated Odessa 10-1 in the state quarterfinal to advance to their 3rd final four appearance in the last five years.
The Lady Hornets will play Macon at Noon Friday that will air live on KCHI. If Chillicothe wins they will advance to the state title game on Saturday at 12:15 pm which would also be live on KCHI.
If the Lady Hornets lose in the semifinal, KCHI will be unable to cover the 3rd place game Friday at 5 pm because Chillicothe football coverage will begin at 6:30, featuring the first round of district play as the Hornets host Lafayette.
