The Chillicothe Lady Hornets celebrated Senior Night in style Monday evening at Danner Park, defeating Bishop LeBlond 20-5 in four innings.
Chillicothe’s offense exploded early, scoring eight runs in the second inning and six more in the third. The Lady Hornets tallied 19 hits as a team, led by Ashlynn Daugherty, who went 3-for-4 with a triple and six RBIs. Landry Marsh added three hits, including a triple, and scored three runs. Maicee Albrecht also had a strong night, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Hayden Hansen contributed two runs batted in and three runs scored, including a double—while Charley Peniston connected on multiple hits for Chillicothe.
In the circle, Foster and Jaiden Rodenberg combined for the win, allowing just six hits and five runs while striking out five.
With the victory, the Lady Hornets improved to 21-7 on the season.
