The Chillicothe Lady Hornets defended their home course Thursday evening, shooting a team score of 205 to edge Putnam County (209) and finish well ahead of Meadville (246) at Green Hills Golf Course.
Gracelynn Barnett led the Hornets with a steady round of 45, followed closely by Harper Horsman at 48. Emerson Brobst contributed a 55, while Libby Bonderer added a 57.
Putnam County’s Hadley Altiser earned medalist honors with the low round of the day, a 41.
The victory showcased Chillicothe’s balance and depth, with four varsity golfers breaking 60 on their home course.
