The Chillicothe Lady Hornets volleyball team went on the road Thursday night to take on MEC rival Lafayette. The Lady Hornets won all three sets in resounding fashion, 25-16, 25-13, 25-7 to improve to 3-1 in the Midland Empire Conference and 12-2 overall. Emerson Staton had a team high 14 kills in the match, while Lyla Beetsma topped the team with 13 digs, Allie West served up 6 aces and Carman Woodworth contributed 33 assists. The Lady Hornets will host Marshall on Monday.
