The Chillicothe Hornets golf team was back in action on Wednesday at Cameron Veterans Memorial Golf Course for an 18 hole match competing in the invitational featuring 14 total teams.
Excelsior Springs won the event with a 332 team score, Trenton placed 2nd notching a 344, and Chillicothe placed 9th with a 378.
Individually, Caden Littrell of South Harrison and Landon Biermann of Excelsior Springs each shot a 78 on the round, the low mark in the tournament. Trenton’s Kiefer Tolson placed 4th shooting an 81, while Chillicothe’s Jameson Marshall tied Trenton’s Drake Weaver for 5th both checking in with an 82.
