Daviess County Crash And Arrest

A single vehicle crash in Daviess County on Thursday afternoon left a 50-year-old  Pleasant Hill man with moderate injuries. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the accident happened at around 3:40 PM on US 69, 2 miles West of Winston, when the driver was northbound on 69 and traveled off the right side of the road, striking the ditch and his vehicle overturned before striking a light pole.

The driver was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph with moderate injuries. He was wearing a safety belt.

 

State Troopers in Daviess County arrested 49-year-old Christopher A. Erickson of Pleasant Hill for alleged felony driving while intoxicated – habitual offender, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, driving while suspended, operating a vehicle after being revoked, operating a vehicle without a new license after being revoked, and refusing to surrender driver’s license when suspended or revoked. He was released for treatment at Mosaic Hospital in Saint Joseph.
