Pesticide Disposal In Chillicothe

A FREE pesticide disposal event will be held in Chillicothe on Saturday, October 4th.  The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will accept up to 8,000 pounds of pesticides from non-commercial sources at no charge.  The event will be held at the Litton Agri-Science Learning Center at the Livingston County Fairgrounds, from 8:00 am to Noon.

Items that will be collected include herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides, dewormers, fly tags, and fertilizer containing pesticides.

They will not accept rinsate, paint, explosives, fire extinguishers, yard waste, electronics, trash, or items from businesses.

Registration is recommended, but not required.  You can preregister for drop off at pesticidecollectionregistration@dnr.mo.gov. For questions, visit the Missouri Pesticide Collection Program webpage or call 573-526-3910.
