A report of a vehicle fire behind a business at 850 Fairway Drive in Chillicothe summoned Chillicothe Fire Fighters at about 3:55 pm Wednesday. The firefighters arrived to find the vehicle on fire and the owner, Ashton Brookman of Brookfield, attempting to remove items from the vehicle.
Five hundred gallons of water was used to put out the fire that also damaged a car near the one that burned.
The fire crew was on the scene for 30 minutes.
