Life Flight Hangar Problems At Airport

Repairs to the door at the LifeFlight Eagle hangar will be expensive.  Airport Director Toby Calivere told the City Council the main hangar door is having problems working properly and repairs will be a problem.

The manufacturer is out of business and you can get parts.

Calivere says they are working with a local vendor to redesign the system to open the door.

Estimate of $33,344.

The council approved the funding of the repairs and included a not-to-exceed amount of $38,000.
