The City of Chillicothe and the North Missouri Solid Waste Management District – Region-B, will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Saturday, October 17th.
The collection will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) at the CMU Warehouse at 1515 Waterworks Road. This event is a safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of hazardous household materials.
In addition, they will accept Tires and Appliances for a fee. There may be a fee for electronic items, based on size and type of equipment.
Household and automotive batteries will be accepted, along with household hazardous materials and household chemicals.
Oil-based paints will be accepted, but they will not accept disposal of latex paint.
The residential collection event in Chillicothe is October 17th.
