MoDOT High-Priority Unfunded Needs Meeting In Chillicothe

A meeting to discuss MoDOT’s draft High-Priority Unfunded Needs list is scheduled in Chillicothe on Wednesday, beginning at 4:00 pm at the Home of Sliced Bread Welcome Center.

MoDOT staff and regional planning partners across the state have developed a list of $4.7 billion of high-priority unfunded road and bridge “needs.”  The projects are divided into three tiers. The first tier includes $541 million of projects that could be accomplished within the current five-year Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) as federal and state funding becomes available.

The public may review the list and provide feedback on the order of priorities and additional work that could be funded in the future.
