The 2024 Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce Awards were presented at the annual banquet.
This year’s award recipients include:
Lynda Snuffer of the Salvation Army was named the 2024 Chamber Person of the Year.
Larry Warren received the 2024 Outstanding Personal Community Service Award.
The 2024 Chamber Business of the Year award was presented to Farmers’ Electric Cooperative.
The 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient is Wayne Cunningham. His nomination highlighted decades of leadership and community involvement, ranging from small business ownership to serving on boards, supporting Scouting programs, and lending a hand to his neighbors. His dedication to the Lions Club KidSight program stood out in particular, as he has personally screened over 17,000 Missouri youth for eye disorders.
