911 Dispatch Board Holds First Meeting

The 911 Dispatch Board held its first meeting to determine some of the first actions it needs to take as an elected, or at this point appointed, board.  These include hiring an attorney, setting up a P.O. Box, bank account, phone number, and regular meeting dates.

The board members include, for the East District – Dan Wiebers, Darrell Wright, and Sam Wright,  West District – Tim Danner, Shaun Crocket, and Kathy Tuttle,  At Large – Matt Gabrielson

The board spoke with representatives from other 911 districts who also work with the state board.  Those representatives provided advice that included the appropriate state statutes on taxes and elections.

The next meeting of the 911 Dispatch Board is on November 19th at the Home of Sliced Bread Center.
