A Bike Rodeo will be held at the Chillicothe Elementary School on May 10th. The event is from 9:00 to 11:00 am and is put on by the Livingston County Health Center and is for children and families. Cathy Ripley from the Health Center says this is a free community event.
Will have bikes available to use as needed
Ripley says they are working with several organizations in the community.
To help with the event
There will be eight new or like new bikes to be given away. The bikes are provided by the Joy Toy bike program in the community,
The event will include a safety check of your bike and fitting of your bike helmet. The police department will also be registering bikes, so if they are stolen or found, they can be returned to you.
Children attending must be accompanied by an adult.
