A two-vehicle crash in Carroll County took the life of a Bosworth man and left a Carroll County Deputy with serious injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred at 2:00 pm Sunday on Missouri 139 at County Road 220. According to the report, the 50-year-old Bosworth man was northbound in the southbound lane and struck a Carroll County sheriff’s vehicle head-on, leaving the deputy, a 41-year-old woman, with serious injuries. She was flown to University Hospital in Columbia. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
