Carrollton Man Faces Alleged Sodomy Charges

A Carrollton man is charged with two counts of alleged Sodomy is held with bond set at $50,000.  Thirty-three-year-old Howard Edward Hughes, Jr. was arrested following the investigation by Carrollton Police.  Hughes, Jr. is accused of alleged sodomy with a 16-year-old girl.  The incident is alleged to have occurred on October 4th at a home in Carrollton.

Hughes, Jr. is also wanted on a Carroll County warrant for alleged unlawful use of a weapon by exhibiting.  That warrant carries bond of $1,500.

Bond Reduction hearings are scheduled for October 15th at the Carroll County Courthouse.
