Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Sixty-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.

Officers took a report of an assault in the 600 block of West Business 36 just after 2 a.m.

Around 5:30 a.m., police responded to an alarm at a business on South Washington Street—everything was found secure.

At mid-morning, officers checked on two animal complaints, one involving a malnourished pit bull on Asher Street and another involving a loose German Shepherd on Jackson Street. Both matters were resolved with the owners.

In the afternoon, officers handled a custody dispute on Washington Street and investigated a hit-and-run complaint at Jackson and Washington Streets.

That night, a driver was given a warning for failing to signal during a traffic stop on Washington and 3rd.
