Chillicothe City Council To Handle Items For New Police Facility

Chillicothe City Council members will meet Monday to consider a lease-purchase agreement, an aviation consultant agreement, and a zoning amendment as part of their meeting Monday.  The meeting begins Monday at 5:30 pm at City Hall.

Following the finance items, appearances include:

  • A Lease Purchase transaction will be presented to provide funding for the cost of construction of the new police station.
  • An aviation project consultant agreement with H.W. Lochner will be presented for an airport Improvement program.
  • The City Codes Officer will present an ordinance to amend zoning at 1618 Fair Street from R-1 Single Family Residential to R-2 One and Two Family Residential.
  • The Codes Officers will also ask for approval of a change in occupancy requirements for the new police facility.

A Closed Executive Session will be held to handle bids and negotiated contracts.
