The annual Chillicothe Kiwanis Club “Kid’s Day Parade” is Saturday, September 20th, around the downtown square. The parade line-up begins at 9:00 am on the north side of the Livingston County Courthouse. The Children are encouraged to participate and dress up.
They may participate as an individual, in a small group of 2-3, or a large group of 4 or more. Bikes and wagons are allowed, but no motorized vehicles.
Prizes will be awarded to all participants and there will be ice cream for all after the parade is over.
The Chillicothe 8th Grade marching band will lead the parade on the route that includes Webster to Washington, South to Clay, East to Locust, and North back to Webster Street. They will also have assistance from local law enforcement and the fire department.
