The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday includes 62 calls for service.
One arrest was reported after officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of South Washington Street, where a man was found sleeping inside. The 45-year-old was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Other calls included officers assisting a resident with retrieving property from the evidence room, answering questions related to juvenile issues and an ongoing fraud investigation, assisting the Fire Department with a medical call, and responding to a well-being check on Hogan Street. In that case, officers later learned the subject was already in a medical facility.
