Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Eighty-five calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Monday.

At 1:47 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop at Third and Elm St.’s. Officers requested a K9 during the stop. Capt. Grider and K9 Enoch responded and assisted. Officers arrested a 38-year-old woman for possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license.  They also arrested a 41-year-old man for possession of a controlled substance. Both were processed at the Police Department and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

At 7:18 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle traffic crash blocking the roadway at MO 190 Hwy. and Hornet Rd. Officers cleared the roadway and a report was taken. One driver was issued a citation for failing to stop for a red light.

At 5:36 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 2700 block of N. Washington St. The person creating the disturbance left the area without further incident.

At 6:27 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Dickinson Ave. for a juvenile threatening self-harm.  Officers assisted by de-escalating the situation and escorting both subjects to the hospital for evaluation.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, and numerous animal control issues.
