Early in the morning, officers investigated a report of property damage on South Brunswick Street. They found the reporting person was under the influence and had shot their own property with a crossbow. The weapon was seized, and the case remains under investigation.

Officers responded to two separate non-injury crashes – one on West Business 36 and another later in the evening at Third and North Washington.

At 12:37 p.m., a 29-year-old man surrendered at the police department on a warrant for failure to appear on a nuisance violation. He posted bond and was released.

And at 2:43 p.m., police took a report of property damage on Locust Street. That investigation is also ongoing.
