Officers responded twice overnight to the 1100 block of Calhoun Street for a domestic disturbance and later assisted with the return of property. No report was filed.

Police also investigated a fraud and scam complaint at the Law Enforcement Center Thursday morning.

Officers searched for a possible intoxicated driver after receiving a report that a terminated employee may attempt to leave a business on Corporate Drive while impaired, but the subject was not located.

A non-injury traffic accident was reported at the Highway 36 and Highway 65 interchange Thursday afternoon after one vehicle was rear-ended on the off-ramp.

Police also conducted a welfare check in the 1400 block of Alexander Street after an elderly resident appeared confused. The individual was found safe, and a referral was made to North Central Missouri Mental Health.
