Seventy-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.
Officers responded twice overnight to the 1100 block of Calhoun Street for a domestic disturbance and later assisted with the return of property. No report was filed.
Police also investigated a fraud and scam complaint at the Law Enforcement Center Thursday morning.
Officers searched for a possible intoxicated driver after receiving a report that a terminated employee may attempt to leave a business on Corporate Drive while impaired, but the subject was not located.
A non-injury traffic accident was reported at the Highway 36 and Highway 65 interchange Thursday afternoon after one vehicle was rear-ended on the off-ramp.
Police also conducted a welfare check in the 1400 block of Alexander Street after an elderly resident appeared confused. The individual was found safe, and a referral was made to North Central Missouri Mental Health.
Additional calls included multiple traffic stops resulting in warnings for speeding, expired tags, and failure to yield.
