Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Sixty-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.

Officers checked a report of malfunctioning traffic lights on Highway 190, but found them operating normally. Later in the morning, authorities investigated the death of a person on Jennings Place, which appeared to be from natural causes.

Police also received multiple reports of vehicles doing “donuts” in parking areas.. Animal Control handled two calls, including one involving a neglected kitten; a suspect was identified and cited.

A 37-year-old man surrendered at the police station on a Livingston County warrant and was released after posting a $10,000 cash-only bond.

Officers also fielded calls regarding sex-offender restrictions, suspicious individuals, and a verbal domestic disturbance.
