Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Sixty-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.

Officers responded to a cut gas line at McCormick Street and International Road, with the gas company and fire department assisting. Police also conducted a well-being check on Locust Street, where an individual requested transport to the hospital for mental health evaluation.

Officers investigated a reported burglary on North Washington Street and determined the individuals had permission to be there, but a 64-year-old woman was arrested on a Chariton County warrant for driving without a valid license and later released on bond. Property damage was reported on Vine Street and remains under investigation. Police also responded to a disturbance on West Business 36 Highway, though the subject had left before officers arrived.

Additionally, a 43-year-old woman was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for forgery and released on her own recognizance.
