Seventy-eight calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.
Officers checked on a report of suspicious activity on South Washington Street but found no criminal activity. Animal Control assisted with two calls, including safely recovering a dog that fell from a second-story window and reuniting a stray kitten with its owner.
Police also handled calls involving a verbal disturbance on Vine Street, questions about child custody and possible threats, and gathered additional information related to an ongoing death investigation. No arrests were reported.
