Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Eighty-six calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.  Some of the calls include:

At 8:53 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an unattended juvenile in the 600 block of Missouri Ave. Officers located the child and the parent. The investigation is ongoing.

At 10:03 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an unattended juvenile in the 10 block of Third St. Officers located the juvenile and the parent. The investigation is ongoing.

At 1:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person at First and Hickory St.’s.

At 2:12 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person at Gravesville Park.

At 2:47 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 600 block of S. Washington St.

At 3:59 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 1000 block of S. Washington St. Officers responded and contacted the person and the business. The person was informed to stay out of the business.

At 4:38 p.m. Officers responded to a dog running-at-large call in the 1100 block of Calhoun St. They were unable to locate the dog. Later, a person located the dog and brought it to the Police Department. Officers contacted the owner who retrieved the dog.

At 6:41 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Bryan St.  A 49-year-old woman was arrested for domestic assault and peace disturbance. She was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Officers conducted traffic stops, business checks, and numerous animal control calls.
