Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 94 calls for service on Wednesday.  Some of the calls include:

Early in the morning, officers contacted a person sleeping outside a closed business on Locust Street and advised them to leave. A noise complaint on Batta Street turned out to be unfounded after officers found the caller was intoxicated.

Officers also handled a dog attack on Rosewood Lane, a hit-and-run crash on Montgomery Street, and a two-vehicle non-injury crash at Webster and Elm.

That evening, officers responded to a possible person in crisis on South Washington Street. The individual was not a danger to themself, but a 40-year-old man at the scene was arrested on an Audrain County Conservation warrant and also found in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
