Chillicothe Spring Clean-Up Continues

Saturday is Day Two of Chillicothe’s annual Spring Clean-up.  CMU Operations Manager Casey Johnson says Wednesday had good numbers of residents participating.

Very Busy – with 405 dumps.

The program continues Saturday from 8:00 am to Noon and 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

There will be a week off and the Clean-Up continues on April 23rd and 26th.  Hours will be 8:00 am to Noon and 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

As this is a program for the City of Chillicothe, you will be asked to show proof of residency in the city limits by showing a copy of your CMU bill.

CMU Operations Manager Casey Johnson says there are restrictions, including no hazardous materials, no brush, and no batteries.

He says there is a charge for tires.

You will be responsible for unloading your items.
