CHS Annual Senior Awards Ceremony Honors Students

Scholarships and awards were presented to Chillicothe High School seniors at the Annual CHS Awards Assembly.  Principal Dan Nagel talked about the support for these students by local families, businesses, and foundations.

CHS Seniors will be awarded $323,000

Scholarships presented ranged from $100 to $10,000 to assist the students in their post-high school education.

He says additional awards and scholarships bring the total to $706,000, with renewable bringing the potential total to nearly $2,250,000.

Notable scholarships presented this year include:

The Virginia Wall Scholarship of $10,000 – presented to Langsten Johnson, and $7,500 – presented to Yoo Jung Lee.

The Jerry Litton Scholarships of $5,000 – presented to Langsten Johnson, and $3,000 – presented to Carter Shipers

The Kenneth & Eugenia Churchill Foundation scholarship of $8,000 – to Zoey Warren.

The Ronnie and Dolores Stamper Educational Foundation Scholarships of $5,000 each to Langsten Johnson, Martin Moore, and Jack Schneiter
