The results of the Third Ward Special Election were approved by the council on a vote of 4-0 with Councilwoman Soper abstaining. The results show Manny Morales was the winner with a vote of 54 to 31 over Stacey Soper.
Morales will be sworn in in a ceremony on Thursday at Noon at City Hall.
