Deer Hunting season is quickly coming to a close in Missouri. The Firearms – alternatives methods season ends today and the Archery season runs through January 15th.
Hunters in Missouri have harvested nearly 300,000 deer since the Archery season opened in September of 2025.

Franklin County, west of St. Louis, has the highest total so far, with 6,701 deer harvested. The lowest harvest number is in Pemiscot County, in the boot heel, with 168 deer taken.
