Three empty lots were put up for sale by the city of Chillicothe. City Clerk Amy Hess says two of the lots received bids and were sold to Aaron Baker. These include the lot at 1825 Clay Street for $10,201 and the lot at 903 Woodward for $5,101.
Hess says the lot at 316 Edgerton received no bids and remains available.
A 50 x 125 foot lot with space issued due to a sewer main.
This makes the lot hard to build on due to space limitations.
The council made the recommendation to advertise the lot available at the highest bid, with no minimum bid required.
