A report of a kitchen fire on Thursday evening at 1447 Alexander Street summoned Chillicothe Fire Fighters at about 8:45 pm. The fire crew arrived in a minute to find the residents were outside. They were told the fire was in the oven. A small amount of water was used to put out the fire. Fans were used to remove smoke.
They were on the scene for less than 30 minutes.
