The First Degree Murder Trial for 24-year-old Edward James Elijah Withey of Milan is now scheduled for July 22nd in Sullivan County Court. Withey is charged with alleged first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Mattie Withey, in May of 2021.
The trial is set for four days, beginning July 22nd, with a pre-trial conference set for June 30th. The trial had previously been scheduled to begin on January 20th.
Withey also faces charges of alleged Armed Criminal Action and Abandonment of a Corpse.
