Health Center Offering Hands Only CPR

Hands-Only CPR training is offered by the Livingston County Health Center.  Community members have an opportunity to learn a simple, life-saving skill in just 30 minutes. The training sessions will be held at the Livingston County Health Center on:

Thursday, February 5 from 12:15–12:45 p.m.

Thursday, February 19 from 12:15–12:45 p.m.

Hands-Only CPR is a simplified form of cardiopulmonary resuscitation that focuses on two critical steps:

  • 1.Call 911
  • 2.Push hard and fast in the center of the chest

Registration is not required, but those interested are encouraged to call 660-646-5506 so staff can plan for the number of participants.

CPR Instructor Mary Taylor, RN, says, “Hands-Only CPR is easy to learn, easy to remember, and can truly make the difference between life and death.  Our goal is to equip as many community members as possible with the confidence to step in and help during an emergency.”
