Human remains were found by a hunter in Mercer County Tuesday. The Missouri Highway Patrol was called to assist the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control was contacted after a turkey hunter discovered the remains on private property in the northeast part of the county.
The Highway Patrol says the remains have not been identified and both departments are continuing the investigation.
