A Danville, IL, man had serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Linn County. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 12:40 pm, on US 36 – three miles west of Brookfield, when the seventy-nine-year-old driver was eastbound and ran off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, and his car overturned. He was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. He was wearing a safety belt.
