The trial for a woman charged in the death of another person involved in a crash on May 26th of 2023, will be in Caldwell County Court on January 27th and 28th for a Jury Trial. Eighty-one-year-old Juanita S. Pryor of Hunnewell is charged with alleged involuntary manslaughter. The pre-trial conference was held on December 10th to handle motions before the court.
The case was moved to Caldwell County in September of 2024 on a change of venue.
The crash occurred on Business 36 at Mitchell Road in Chillicothe, when Pryor allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the other vehicle at a high rate of speed.
