Kansas City Driver Has Serious Injuries In Crash

A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Daviess County left a Kansas City driver with serious injuries.  State Troopers report the crash occurred about 2:00 pm on Missouri Highway 6, just east of Altamont.  According to the report, The 58-year-old Kansas City woman was westbound and crossed the centerline, striking an eastbound vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Jamesport man.  The Jamesport man went off the south side of the road, overcorrected, and went off the north side of the road and his vehicle overturned – coming to rest on its top.  The Jamesport man was not injured.  The Kansas City woman had serious injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital.  They were wearing safety belts.
