Kansas City Woman Booked For Livingston County

A Kansas City woman, who had been serving a sentence at the Women’s prison in Vandalia, 37-year-old Tara Lynn Cochran, was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center by Livingston County Deputies Tuesday morning, for alleged delivery of a controlled substance.  The case had been filed in January of 2024 and a warrant was issued at that time.  On April 7th, Cochran filed a request for a speedy trial.

Cochran was booked Tuesday morning and was released six hours later.  Bond was set at $5,000 cash only.

She is scheduled in court on April 23rd for her initial appearance.
